Half a Year

We have been blogging for 6 months and 20 days. 6 months is half of a year. Our links on Technorati are disappearing because after 6 months they go away. I was sad because our links were going away but Mom figured out why. I hope that we get more links in the next 6 months. We are going to work really hard to get more people to read our blog.

The end

*** Note from Mom***

This post may not make too much sense. Ben and Noah have noticed that their Technorati ranking has been going down and that the number of blogs that link to their blog have been going down as well. Noah took this particularly hard because blogging for him is more difficult and his entries take more time to complete. He thought that people were not reading his writings any longer. Technorati only counts links made in the last 6 months when they consider ranking. The boys have been writing for 6 months and 20 days so therefore, many of the links they had are expiring. I told the boys that they will have to get new readership..... this should be interesting

Thank you Ms. Jenn.  6 months is 1/6 of my sister's whole life. I really like my blog because I can remember what we did and it is helping me write better.

Thank you Mr. DeLay. I am really glad that you read it still. I really like writing and I am getting better at typing so it does not take me as long. Have a really good day.

Ben and Noah, I happened by your blog way back in September and have been reading your blog ever since. You two are quite accomplished writers for such a young age and I am impressed that you have been blogging for 6 months already. If I had a blog I would link to you. I'm thinking of starting one this summer and if I do I will then. Keep writing! Jenny

Thank you Ms. Jenny. There is another lady named Ms. Jenn that reads our blog too. I have only met one other kid with my name. Blogs are really cool. It is like having a penpal but you do not have to wait forever for the mail to come.

Congratulations on 6 months! I have been keeping this blog a little over 3 years, although I lost most of it last month. I hope you backup your blog (I didn't).

You guys have a great blog, I bet you'll get more links.

You have had a blog for longer than my sister has been alive. That is a really long time. My Mom copied our blog in a file so we do not lose it. I have to write my words on paper first and fix everything and put it into my school binder after I type it. Thank you very much for reading what we write.

Wow, it feels like it has been a lot longer than a few months that I have been reading your blog because there is so much fun stuff here every time I read it!

Even more important than that, though, is that the first few threads of yours I read were really big ones with lots of different commentors, and you guys took the time to go back and answer and say thank you to each and every one. I was very very impressed and amazed by that, since it is not something you see from most bloggers, and it has been awesome to see how you have done a great job of keeping up that same attitude since then.

Anyways, keep up the terrific work, both of you...and if you don't mind my asking, when will we see some of that "running commentary from your little sister"?

My Mom said it is important to say thank you because people need to know that. When someone does something nice you have to make sure they know that you really liked what they did. Abi is going to write when she can write her name. She has been taking pictures with the camera. We asked Mom if we could have a podcast too and she said she would think about it.

Hey guys. Please do not stop blogging. I read them all every day. I can say that many times here at work things get stressful and I can always count on a smile when I read what you three have been up to. I miss you all so very much and can not wait to see you. Miss you guys!!!

Hi Uncle Pete. I am not stopping my blog. I have worked on it too hard to quit. Mom and me had a talk and she said if I quit when things do not do what I want that I can not learn the stuff I have to. I learned how blogs get ranked and if Noah and I give up we will not be able to see the rank go up again. The other thing is I like writing on the computer. I have a new XBox game I earned. When are you coming over to see it?

I read every post you guys write. Your blog is one of my favorites. I wouldn't worry so much about your blog ranking. I think it is a good idea to write in order to share your ideas. Even if lots and lots of people don't read it, you can still count on quite a few friends to read it, and that counts for a lot.
