Have you guys started to learn any constellations yet? My favorite is the one that is shaped like a W, because whenever I am walking home I can look straight up and it is right there.
Except sometimes it looks like an M instead. Pretty neat huh? Reply to this

Sometimes when I walk down the hill where I live, I can look straight out and right on top of the road is Orion. It looks like he is standing there guarding something. I hope he moves before any cars go by! Reply to this
We can see Orion's Belt where we live too. He is a great warrior. He is stepping on the head of a snake.
*** Note From Mom**** We have a really interesting book called "The Gospel in the Stars" written by Joseph A. Seiss that talks about how prior to Scriptures, God's people looked to the stars as a way to remember the works of God. It is not a "kid" book as it is very technical but, it was a very interesting read and has helped us teach the boys and girl about the constellations.

Telescopes are GREAT!!! I love looking up at the sky. If you check out the moon it's as though you can touch it. You don't realize how quickly it is moving until you look at it through a scope. Reply to this

I want fly in space. I have to be the best at math and science to fly a space shuttle. I do my best everyday so I can go. It would be cool to see the moon up close without a telescope. Reply to this
